Why learn to swim with us?
We’re proud to offer swimming lessons through the Y’s comprehensive swim program.
Our lessons focus on building confidence, developing essential swimming skills, and fostering a lifelong love of the water.
We also teach vital water safety and survival techniques – because knowing how to stay safe in around water can help save lives.
We provide lessons for:
- Infants aged six months and older
- Preschool children
- School-age children
- Teens and adults
Whether your child is dipping in the pool for the first time or wants to advance their skills – we’re here to support them all the way through their learn to swim journey.
Included in your swimming lessons membership:
- 48 swimming lessons per year (one 30-minute lesson per week)
- Free access to the pool facilities at Coburg Leisure Centre and Brunswick Baths, along with the seasonal pools at Oak Park Sports and Aquatic Centre, Coburg Olympic Pool, and Pascoe Vale Outdoor Pool – great for practice or play
- One free holiday swimming program with each 12-month membership
- 10% discount on merchandise
- Scheduled program breaks over Easter and Christmas
- Access to eight make-up lessons per calendar year for children who miss a lesson
- Optional suspension for Ramadan or summer break
