Our story
Active Merri-bek centres are owned by Merri-bek City Council and proudly managed by Belgravia Leisure. Active Merri-bek makes it easier for more people to be more active, more often.
Active Merri‑bek is all about strengthening the community by making it easier for everyone to get moving, feel connected, and enjoy healthier lives. We focus on supporting the people who face the biggest barriers to being active, creating opportunities that reflect diverse needs and investing in places where people feel welcome to participate. To provide active opportunities for everyone, we work closely with local groups and clubs within Merri-bek.

Our venues
Brunswick Baths
Brunswick Baths offers a large variety of health club facilities, including a gym, cycle studio and personal training room. Our pools include a 50m outdoor pool, a 20m indoor pool, two children’s play areas and a relaxing spa.
Coburg Leisure Centre
Reach your wellbeing goals in Coburg Leisure Centre’s three pools and health club facilities, including a gym, group exercise and cycle studio. There’s even on-site physio services to support you further.
Fawkner Leisure Centre
Fawkner Leisure Centre welcomes everyone to use the two indoor pools, a 50m outdoor pool, a toddler’s pool and water play area. Additionally, we offer a gym, functional training zone and a group exercise studio. Plus you can relax and unwind in our spa, sauna or steam room.
Oak Park Sports and Aquatic Centre
At Oak Park Aquatic and Sports Centre guests can experience diverse leisure facilities for the whole family, from a 50m outdoor pool, 24/7 health club and a Reformer Pilates studio to waterslides and a water play area.
Coburg Olympic Swimming Pool
At Coburg Olympic Swimming Pool you’ll find the perfect place to swim laps, practice diving or to just cool off during the warmer months. Our shaded toddler’s pool also makes us a great place to bring little ones.
Pascoe Vale Outdoor Pool
Open during the summer months, Pascoe Vale Outdoor Pool welcomes both recreational and lap swimmers to enjoy our 33m lap pool and program pool. There’s even a diving pool and toddler’s play area.
