Active Merri-bek and the Merri-bek City Council are developing our new four-year strategic plan for our aquatics and leisure centres. We would like to hear from you about the programs and services you would like to see run in our centres in Brunswick, Coburg, Fawkner, Oak Park and Pascoe Vale.
About the Strategic Plan
Belgravia Leisure are the new contractors who are managing Merri-bek’s aquatic and leisure facilities from July 2026. This engagement is being run in collaboration with them.
As part of their 4-year contract, they are required to develop a Strategic Plan that will inform the programs and services offered at our centres. The plan helps to ensure that Belgravia Leisure are operating our facilities in line with the objectives of Council strategies and plans.
How we will use your feedback
Your feedback will help us create the strategic plan. The plan is intended to support and encourage the continual improvement of programs and service delivery across our centres.
The Strategic Plan helps us improve health and wellbeing of the Merri-bek community by getting more people, more active, more often.
