    YMCA ‘8-WEEK PERSONAL TRAINING CHALLENGE’ TERMS AND CONDITIONS (Terms)

    The challenge

    1. This ‘8-WEEK PERSONAL TRAINING CHALLENGE’ (promotion) is offered by Victorian YMCA Community Programming Pty Ltd (ABN 75 092 818 445) of 502/990 Whitehorse Rd, Box Hill VIC 3128 (YMCA).

    2. Between Monday 26 September 2022 and Monday 21 November 2022 (promotion period), your participating centre will be running an 8-Week Personal Training Challenge. As part of the promotion, you will receive:

    a. 1 x 30-minute personal training session per week with an assigned trainer for the duration of the eight-week period
    b. 1 x 45-minute option group training session per week with an assigned trainer for the duration of the eight-week period
    c. 3 x EVOLT Body scans with your assigned trainer
    d. Starter pack - water bottle and towel
    e. Weekly prizes
    f. Access to a private Facebook chat with your personal trainer and other challengers at your participating centre

    3. If you miss a personal training session, you must provide 48 hours’ notice to your personal trainer and coordinate a make-up session. All make up sessions must occur between promotion period.

    4. Each participant must register and pay the promotion fee in full between Monday 29 August 2022 to Sunday 18 September 2022. Limited spots available.

    5. The promotion fee is $375.00 for existing members and $440.00 for non-members.

    6. Inclusions and details of the challenge can be set and varied at the discretion of the centre manager.

    The Prizes

    7. Throughout the promotion period, weekly prizes will be available to win. Prizes consist of the following:

    a. Overall winner – 1 x Apple watch
    b. Team prize – 1 x MyZone heart rate monitor per person
    c. Weekly MVP award – 8 x $50 massage vouchers

    8. Your personal trainer will evaluate and determine the overall winner, team and weekly MVP prizes. The winners will be notified by the personal trainer or centre manager and prizes will be distributed within 72 hours.

    9. By participating in the promotion, you agree to be bound by these terms.

    10. The prizes are available at Ashburton Pool and Recreation Centre, Boroondara Sports Complex and Hawthorn Aquatic and Leisure Centre.

    Privacy

    11. YMCA handles all personal information in accordance with its privacy policy at http://victoria.ymca.org.au/privacy-policy.html

    Miscellaneous

    12. YMCA reserves the right to amend, cease and / or revoke the promotion prior to the end of the promotion period in its sole discretion and without notice.

    13. To the extent permitted by law, YMCA will not be liable to any person for any cost, loss, damage, liability, expense or claim arising, whether directly or indirectly, in connection with the promotion.

    14. Any dispute or situation not covered by these terms, will be resolved by YMCA management in a manner it deems to be fair (acting reasonably).

    15. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.

    16. Members and participants will be bound by their terms of membership with YMCA. To the extent of any inconsistency between the terms of membership and these terms, these terms will take priority.
