About sportsground hire

Merri-bek City Council manages all bookings for sportsgrounds facilities and netball courts.

Merri-bek's sportsgrounds and netball courts can be hired:

  • on a casual basis for sporting activities;
  • to use for pre-season and finals training.

For community events, take a look below for more information on requirements, booking processes and permits for sportsground hire. We also offer information on personal training permits.

Download our weekly summary of sports field bookings. Due to the nature of sports field bookings and community sport, there are often last-minute cancellations or additional bookings that get approved to accommodate fixtures, team/training needs, events and even changes in weather. These last-minute changes may not get reflected in the weekly summary.
