Join us at Oak Park Sports and Aquatic Centre on Saturday 4 May for our Urban Retreat, where we bring like-minded people together for a special yoga, relaxation and meditation session.
Our Urban Retreat is the perfect session for those in the pursuit of mindfulness and relaxation. The two-hour session is guided by our expert yoga teacher Shuddha, who also conducts retreats around Victoria and internationally.
The Urban Retreat will begin with yoga, followed by breathing, a lying down guided relaxation and meditation (chairs will be available). At the end of the session, you’re invited to enjoy a light vegetarian buffet.
There’s also the opportunity to make a gold coin donation to our charity, Open Doors, which supports people in the community who are experiencing disadvantage to access our centres across Active Merri-bek.
Plus, when you donate to the Y's charitable work, you’ll receive a raffle ticket to go into the draw for some amazing prizes – including an Aesop gift pack valued at $153!

Active Merri-bek Urban Retreat - Terms and conditions
1. OFFER AND ELIGIBILITY
(1) The Active Merri-bek Urban Retreat is offered by Victorian YMCA Community Programming Pty Ltd (ABN 75 092 818 445) of 502/990 Whitehorse Rd, Box Hill VIC 3128 (YMCA).
(2) By participating in the Promotion, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
(3) The event at Oak Park Sport & Aquatic Centre (Participating Centre) will be on Saturday 4 May 2024.
(4) To be eligible to participate in the event and win Prizes:
You must have a reserved spot booked on Perfect Gym as an existing member at Oak Park Sports and Aquatic Centre, or as a guest.
(5) The Promotion is not valid in conjunction with other offers, unless approved in writing by YMCA.
2. SIGN UP TERMS
All bookings to be made via Perfect Gym. Numbers are limited to 30. In the event that the event is fully booked, names will go on a waitlist at OPSAC Reception, and called as places become available.
3. PRIVACY
YMCA handles all personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
4. MISCELLANEOUS
(1) YMCA reserves the right to amend, cease and / or revoke the Promotion prior to the end of the Promotion Period in its sole discretion and without notice.
(2) To the extent permitted by law, YMCA will not be liable to any person for any cost, loss, damage, liability, expense or claim arising, whether directly or indirectly, in connection with the Promotion.
(3) Any dispute or situation not covered by these terms, will be resolved by YMCA management in a manner it deems to be fair (acting reasonably).
(4) These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
(5) Gold coin donations will be accepted at OPSAC Reception and a Raffle ticket will be provided in return.
(6) Prizes will be drawn on Monday 6 May at OPSAC by 3 Managers, drawing random tickets for each prize.
(7) Winners will be notified Monday 6 May 2024.
