Goal
Improve overall body strength and cardio and boxing technique.
Tools and techniques
- Shadow boxing: boxing without an opponent. Practice your technique by moving and throwing boxes in the air.
- Pad work boxing: boxing with with mitts and a partner holding up a pad.
- Heavy bag boxing: boxing with a firm, heavy, cylindrical bag. Gain a full body workout and enhance core stability, power and endurance.
- Speed bag boxing: boxing a small punching bag to improve boxing speed and rhythm as well as stamina and coordination.
- Cardio training: cardio exercises such as skipping, high knees, push ups and burpees.
- Strength training: Body weight and free weight exercises to make you stronger and your boxing more powerful.
Prizes
Each time you attend a boxing challenge session you will go into the draw to win great prizes including a 1 month gym membership, boxing gloves and more!
